Why Players in Of Blood and Gods Can't Meditate

June 8, 2024

Of Blood and Gods is the second major expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC. It follows the story of Eivor Varinsdottir and her struggle to decide between Vili and Trygve. Eivor seeks out the advice of a seer to see who will be better as Jarl, and she asks that you meditate with her.

In the book of Joshua, God tells the people of Israel to meditate on His Word: "Let not this Book of the Law depart from thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night; for in it thou shalt find wisdom, and understanding, and good success." (Joshua 1:8). Bible meditation is a time for the Holy Spirit to come into our lives, to counsel us, and to speak to us. When we meditate on His Word, it matures our character and spiritual growth.

Practicing meditation is simple and can be done anywhere. Begin with five to ten minutes, and increase the time as you become more comfortable with the practice. During meditation it's important to sit in a comfortable position. It's best to have a chair or blanket to support yourself. Make sure it's not too cold or too warm. The atmosphere should be calm and quiet, so as not to disturb the meditation process. The head, neck and spine should be erect, but not rigid to the point of pain. The back should be curved a little, but not arching to the point of causing back pain.
