Located on Marimegmeg Beach, The Birdhouse El Nido is a small boutique hotel that currently offers 5 luxury suite tents on large stilt platforms they call “nests.” These treetop abodes are all-inclusive and only reachable by a steep wooden staircase which starts on the beach below. Each nest is a complete escape from the world, with all of the elements of an exquisite treetop abode right at your fingertips.
This eco-friendly glamping retreat is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city while still enjoying modern amenities like a barbecue pit for roasting s’mores and meat, a selection of board games and a spacious library. The accommodations also have solar powered lamps and USB sockets to charge your electronic devices.
Aside from the luxury accommodations, the Birdhouse El Nido also boasts a rooftop yoga studio and restaurant called The Nesting Table. This is where you can enjoy a mix of Filipino and Western comfort food, while stargazing at the beach below.
There are also various activities to do around the area. You can take a trip to Nacpan Beach, which is known for its beautiful limestone cliffs and stunning sunsets. You can also zipline across Depeldet Island or rent a stand-up paddle boat and explore Seven Commandoes Beach or Ipil Beach via Bacuit Bay.
