During spring and fall, the weather in Boston is usually beautiful. But it’s still pretty dreary at times. On those days when it rains, we get a little bummed out and wish there was something to do!
Luckily, the city of Boston has plenty of fun activities for everyone. From museums to historic landmarks, these are some of our favorite things to do in rainy weather!
One of the best ways to spend a rainy day is to go to a Boston museum. The city has plenty of fantastic museums that cover all sorts of subjects, from contemporary art to natural history. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is a must-visit, and you can even get caught up on some new exhibits at the Boston Children’s Museum.
If it’s really raining, a trip to a local bowling alley is an excellent way to stay entertained. Many of our rinks are open year-round and offer different games for all ages, plus big screens, drinks for all ages, and food.
The best thing about a trampoline park is that it’s a fun activity for the whole family. Kids and adults will have a blast jumping around, and it’s a great way to get some exercise on a rainy day!
While it may seem like a strange thing to do on a rainy day, a virtual puppet show can be a lot of fun. You can take a tour of the theater, see how the puppets are made, or even watch a show online.
