Sciencenter - The best thing to do with kids on a rainy day is to go to the Sciencenter where there are hands on exhibits with everything from a triceretops skull to toy ducks in moving water. There are also many other interactive exhibits for kids of all ages.
Tompkins Center for History & Culture - This museum is located inside the Downtown Visitors Center and is a great way to learn more about the history of Ithaca and Tompkins County. They have lots of artifacts that show how the community has changed over the years.
