The largest city in Florida, Jacksonville, is a thriving metropolis with historic urban neighborhoods that attract young professionals and families alike. Located in Duval County and covering 875 square miles, Jacksonville’s diverse communities have something for everyone. From waterfront condos with spectacular views to quaint suburban neighborhoods, the city boasts a range of options for homebuyers and investors alike.

To help buyers and sellers find the right neighborhood, News4Jax asked local real estate agent Howard Flaschen to sift through the latest data from Zillow to reveal which Jacksonville area ZIP codes are best for buying and selling homes. The rankings were based on factors including average home values, property taxes, crime rates, education levels, employment opportunities, and local amenities and attractions.

32246 (Duval County): Homebuyers in this area are in the most favorable position to sell right now, according to Flaschen, as it’s close to the city center and features some of the best schools in Jacksonville. 32257 (Duval County): This area covers Argyle Forest west to Jacksonville Heights and is also highly desirable due to its proximity to the city’s best parks and schools.

32082 (Ponte Vedra): This area features everything from oceanfront properties to the popular Nocatee community and offers great schools, according to Flaschen. 32095 (St Augustine): This is another highly desirable area with plenty of choices for families, including great schools.
