As of May 20, 2019, The Weather Channel was not available on Dish Network in the United States due to a dispute over cable carriage fees. In April 2019 The Weather Channel experienced a brief period of not being able to air live programming after a malware attack was discovered on the network's system. Previously taped shows were aired while engineers worked to fix the problem.
