How to Meditate in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

June 8, 2024

Assassin's Creed games are known for including a large variety of Easter eggs that reference past titles in the series and other franchises. While many of these are easy to find, there are a few hidden messages that players may not notice. One of these is a simple way to pass time in Assassin's Creed Valhalla without having to twiddle your thumbs waiting for the sun to set or rise.

The easiest way to meditate in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is to locate the synchronization point closest to you and head up there. Once you have done so, a cutscene will begin and you'll be able to meditate. This will skip the day/night cycle and allow you to explore the beautiful Scandinavian landscapes at a more convenient time.

This is a fairly common mechanic in Ubisoft's games and it works the same in Assassin's Creed Valhalla as it does in other titles like Odyssey and The Witcher 3. On PlayStation 4, players can activate the ability by pressing and holding the center touch pad; on Xbox One, players must press the View button. Activating the feature is fairly straightforward and will give players more flexibility in exploring the world of Norse mythology.

This update also delivers a data restructure, resulting in smaller game files, faster loading screen times and runtime performance, as well as improved world data streaming. Additionally, it addresses an issue where some users were unable to complete the A Fated Encounter quest due to a glitch.
