The platypus is a very interesting animal that exists only in Australia. These bizarre looking mammals have a duck-like bill, thick brown waterproof fur and webbed feet.
These animals are often seen swimming in water but they also spend time in the highlands and tropical rainforests. They are carnivores and eat mainly meat, crustaceans and insect larvae.
This drawing lesson is about Perry the Platypus from the Disney Channel XD show Phineas and Ferb who has two forms; one as his pet mode (called “Perry”) and the other as Agent P. In this tutorial, you will learn how to draw this character step by step with easy instructions.
Start by using a pencil to draw a long rectangle that bends to the right side of the paper. This is the basic shape for the head and body of Perry the Platypus.
Next, draw a vertical line and two horizontal lines across this rectangle that are close to the bottom of the picture. These will be construction lines that you will use later on to help with Perry the Platypus's facial features.
After completing the head and body of Perry the Platypus, you can move on to drawing out the face or bill. To do this, you will need to follow the guidelines that you drew in step 1 but this time you will use a circle for each of the guide lines. This will allow you to add more detail to your drawing as well as shading in the details of the eyes and nose.
