Destiny 2 Guide - How to Meditate in Destiny 2

June 8, 2024

With Lightfall, Destiny 2 has introduced a new campaign and new locations for Guardians to explore. The update also brings with it a new subclass, Strand, which allows players to manipulate the strings of the universe. However, unlocking Strand's Aspects and Fragments requires a lot of work, including a currency known as Strand Meditations. Here's how to farm these meditations as efficiently as possible.

Minor Lightfall campaign spoilers ahead! After completing the Lightfall story and speaking to the necessary Destiny characters at the Tower, head back to the Hall of Heroes on Neomuna. Stand by the cushions in front of the Pouka Pond and follow the 'Meditate' prompt to permanently unlock your Strand subclass. This will allow you to access the pond and spend Strand Meditations on unlocking Aspects and Fragments necessary for a top-tier Strand build.

To earn Strand Meditations, players must complete a variety of activities on the planet Neomuna, including Patrols and Vex Incursion Zone missions. These activities will reward between five and seven Meditations per clear, which can be fairly quick to gather. However, there are also several other ways to quickly rack up meditations, including completing Terminal Overload events and unlocking Aspect upgrades for your Strand class via the Born in Darkness quest. These Aspect upgrades require a total of 2,800 Strand Meditations to unlock, but they're still a good way to increase the power level of your Guardians quickly.
